Lessons

Whether you are an absolute beginner or advanced shredder, I am here to help you meet your guitar goals!

I have a ton of experience teaching guitar over the years and I’ve taught thousands of lessons at this point. I primarily work with rock, pop, jazz, and metal styles. While I don’t teach as much classical, I can show someone the basics. However, I am not a Suzuki teacher.

I teach out of my home or online. I usually teach ages 8 and up. But I have worked with kids as young as 5. I love to teach adults as well. I have had students who started with me as absolute beginners go on to form bands of their own, write their own songs, record music, and play on stage. I even had a student get into the Berklee College of Music on a scholarship.

If you or a loved one is interested in a trial lesson, please email or text me here:

My rates are as follows:

Trial lesson (first time)

$80 - 1 hour

$65 - 45 minutes

$50 - 30 minutes

One-off

$125 - 1 hour

$100 - 45 minute lesson

$75 - 30 minute lesson

Monthly package (varies per weeks in the month)

$400 or $500 - 1 hour lessons ($100 per)

$300 or $375 - 45 minute lessons ($75 per)

$200 or $250 - 30 minute lessons ($50 per)

For your first lesson, I offer a trial lesson at the above rates. The trial allows me to find out what your interests and goals are, where you are at in your abilities, and to see if we are a good fit.

From there, you can either choose to take lessons at a one-off rate or at a monthly package rate. You are free to change your payment plan at the beginning of the following month.

If you choose the one-off rate, I am paid in full 48 hours before the start of your lesson. The one-off rate is better for students with more unpredictable schedules or students only looking for a lesson every so often.

If you choose the monthly package rate, I am paid in full for the whole month 48 hours before your first lesson of that month. The expectation is one lesson per week. For example, this means that if you are taking 60 minute lessons with me on Fridays and there are 5 Fridays in that month, I am owed $500 by the beginning of that month. Some months have four weeks and some have five. It is up to the student to figure out the payment amount. I will help keep track too. The monthly rate is better for students with more consistent schedules and this package allows you to save money in the long term.
